25.08.13 Lawyer Evgeny Arkhipov received the threats and the requirement from FSB of Russia to leave the country

As the press service of the Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights reports, lawyer Evgeny Arkhipov had received the threats from FSB of Russia in connection with the independent position as a lawyer and human rights defender.

As the lawyer Evgeny Arkhipov said, the authorities continued the pressure against him in connection with the protection of LGBT-activist Roman Sorokin. As Evgeny Arkhipov reported, he have got the threats of the closing of the Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights and the person threats after action near the Ministry of Internal Affairs August 06, when several activists were arrested and were taken to the police department «Jakimanka».

As Roman Sorokin said, the representatives of FSB conversed with him about the lawyer Evgeny Arkhipov all the time, that Roman Sorokin spent in police department "Jakimanka". As Roman Sorokin reported, the representatives of intelligent service wanted to know all about the relations between Roman Sorokin and his lawyer Evgeny Arkhipov.

As the lawyer Evgeny Arkhipov said, the civil activists Vadim Domnitsky and Alexander Uvarov were detained during an unauthorized search August 19, 2013 in house of  lawyer Evgeny Arkhipovs in Domodedovo district of Moscow region. The activists were delivered to the police department "Barybino" of Domodedovo district, where had been interrogated and beaten by representatives of FSB.

According Alexandr Uvarov information, the representatives of FSB tried to find out when and how the activists met with a lawyer Evgeny Arkhipov. As Alexandr Uvarov said, the representatives of FSB demanded to stop the protest activity, relationship between activists and the lawyer, also the representatives of FSB threatened to lawyer Evgeny Arkhipov and demanded to leave Russia.

As the lawyer Evgeny Arkhipov said, authorities made another provocation August 24 against defender of transgender Roman Sorokin. The authorities tried to arrest lawyer Evgeny Arkhipov allegedly in connection, that Evgeny Arkhipov organized the rally in support of LGBT people on the territory of the village Matveevka August 24. As one of the officers in civilian clothes said, the police allegedly received a complaint about the organization of illegal rally in defense of the rights of transgender people by lawyer Evgeny Arkhipov.

Lawyer Evgeny Arkhipov said that he is not going to leave Russia and will continue his activity despite on provocations by the government and the pressure in connection with his independent position as a lawyer and human rights defender. As the lawyer said, may be the  high-ranking members of the FSB of Russia and officials want to leave their homeland, because they put their money into foreign countries.

According to the lawyer Evgeny Arkhipov, the Russian government openly and deliberately pursues LGBT, which can only be compared with the persecution of Jews by Hitler in Nazi Germany. The lawyer said, that the LGBT community has chosen a peaceful form of protest and defend their rights by conducting gay parades. Vladimir Putin organized the campaign against LGBT community and discriminates LGBT, LGBT activists came to the forefront of protest and resists to fascist regime, which established in Russia. As lawyer Evgeny Arkhipov reminded, Vladimir Putin chose the Eurasian way of development of Russia, which is one of the branches of fascism.
