28.06.22 One of the young leaders of Tatarstan calls on the Tatars to build a republic in Space

One of the youngest leaders of Tatarstan, 21-year-old Shamil Saitov, addressed the Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights within the framework of the human rights project “Self-determination of peoples through space” with a request to support his idea of building a Tatar republic in space and self-determination of Tatars through scientific and technological progress.

As Shamil Saitov said, the Tatars should not run after conservative separatists and Islamic terrorists, but should look into space and find a democratic solution there.

Comment by Maria Arkhipova, Chairman of Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights:

- A few years ago, the Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights launched a special project "Self-determination of peoples through space", then we counted on an appeal from the Kurds, as they repeatedly asked to help them in the issue of self-determination. We found a solution, but the Kurds changed their minds and preferred to spend resources on military operations and win land from the Turks by killing each other, instead of developing uninhabited outer space and creating their own statehood without any victims. As time passed, the Tatars, in the person of Shamil Saitov, were the first to turn to us for support, apparently, the high level of development of the peoples of Russia is affected by the Soviet heritage and the general high level of education, unlike the Kurds. And we think - why not? Russia could become the mother of new states in space, help not only the Tatars, help other peoples who have reached the cosmic level of development in space exploration and realize their statehood in the unoccupied expanses of the universe. The only question that arises is the question of consolidating production forces and resources: are the Tatars capable of consolidating production forces and resources to implement their project? First of all, we are talking about finances and solidarity, it is difficult to answer this question - time will tell whether the Tatars will support their young leader and his idea. In general, this is the realization of the people's right to self-determination, i.e. These are human rights and freedoms.

The Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights, at the request of the young Tatar leader Shamil Saitov, publishes his video message to the Tatars about his idea of creating a Tatar republic in space.
