22.04 Human rights defenders appealed to the head of the Vatican gendarmerie about the need to investigate the death of Francis

As stated by the press service of the Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights, on April 22, 2025, human rights activists of the Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights addressed a written appeal to Gianluca Gauzzi Broccoletti, head of the Vatican security department and commander of the Vatican gendarmerie, about the need to investigate the circumstances of the death of Pope Francis.
