Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights (Russian Bar Association for Human Rights) was founded in 2004 and finally formed in 2007.

The Aims and Objectives of Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights are: respect for human rights and freedoms, effective restoration of violated rights and freedoms of particular human beings, providing complete and comprehensive protection of human rights freedoms.

Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights are well-known CSO community of lawyers, jurists and human rights activists today.

Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights initiated the founding of the first pan-European anti-corruption network - Clean Hands Without Borders. The Association defends actively human rights and freedoms at international bodies and presents its position at meetings of Council of Europe and European Union and other international organizations.

Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights are a member of UNITED which is the pan-European network against nationalism, racism, fascism and in support of migrants and refugees, supported by over 560 organizations in 46 European countries.

In June 2009 Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights became a participant of UN Global Compact.
