26.04.2013 The opposition lawyer Galina Perfilieva reported about the disciplinary proceedings against her under the far-fetched

The Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights received a complaint from the opposition lawyer of Bar Association of the Khabarovsk Region Galina Perfilieva in connection with the disciplinary proceedings against her by the initiative of vice president of the Bar Mr Sadokhin. As Galina Perfilieva told, the persecution was initiated under the far-fetched guise for alleged non-payment fees of three months to the Bar Association of the Khabarovsk Region.

Galina Perfilieva informed, that she is in Moscow in a business trip from March 2013, and before she left Komsomolsk-on-Amur the fees were paid to the Bar Association of the Khabarovsk Region, which Galina Perfilieva may confirm by the documents.
Galina Perfilieva stressed, that she was deprived of the possibility to give an explanation and the copies of the payment documents, and also she was deprived of the possibility to re-payment of fees.
Galina Perfilieva also reported that she is a lawyer since 2007, and earlier the Bar Association of the Khabarovsk Region did not have any claims to her.
Galina Perfilieva informed, that she was warned that the session of the Qualification Commission of the Bar Association of the Khabarovsk Region will be held even in the case of her absence, despite of breach of the legislation of Russian Federation.
Galina Perfilieva attributes  the persecution with her participation in the nationwide protests and considers that the disciplinary proceedings has the character of the political persecution, which which may lead to the deprivation of the advocate status.
Galina Perfilieva invites the journalists, civil activists and colleagues on the session of the Qualification Commission of the Bar Association of the Khabarovsk Region on April 29 in Khabarovsk, Sheronov str.  Buildin 68 at 10.00.
The Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights took the appeal of the opposition lawyer Galina Perfilieva under the public control and will follow over the prevention of violations of the right of the lawyer on independent civil activity, as well as over the prevention of pressure on the advocacy.
