As Evgeny Arhipov reported to the press service of the
Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights, the initiative group of Domodedovo
residents, supporting the creation of the Ruska Democratic
Republic, has assigned the carrying out of the referendum on the
declaration of the Ruska Democratic Republic for the period from May
15 to June 15, 2013; the referendum results will be declared on June
16, 2013. According to Evgeny Arhipov, the referendum will be
performed in the form of the poll of Domodedovo district residents,
during which it will be offered to inhabitants to vote on the
following questions:
1 Do you agree with the declaration of the Ruska Democratic Republic
within the municipality <<the city district of Domodedovo>>?
2 Do you agree with the entry of the Russka Democratic Republic into
the European Union?
3 Do you agree with the implementation of the Constitution of the
Ruska Democratic Republic, prepared by the Rus National
Liberation Movement?
As Marina Zlotnikova told, on October 06, 2012 the initiative group
was reorganized into the Rus National Liberation Movement which
since on October 06, 2012 is a temporary form of existence of the
republic, being in process of forming and formation till the creation
of republican power bodies.
As Evgeny Arhipov declared, according to <<the Declaration of
Principles of International Law Concerning Friendly Relations and
Co-operation Among States in Accordance with the Charter of the United
Nations>>, the Rus National Liberation Movement is the participant
of the international legal relations from the moment of its creation
and has the right to speak on behalf of people in interstate
relations.
Besides, the right to self-determination is provided by the
Declaration on principles of international law: <<By virtue of the
principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples, all
peoples have the right freely to determine, without external
interference, their political status and to perform their economic,
social and cultural development, and every State has the duty to
respect this right in accordance with the Charter provisions>>, as
members of the initiative group emphasized.
The Rus National Liberation Movement has declared that the Ruskyy
as a nation, aren't recognized by any state, any international
organization unlike other people of multinational Russia: at the
international level the Ruskyy are called citizens of Russia, the
Russian, however all people of Russia belong to the Russia, thus the
Ruskyy remain unrecognized and not declared nation, and this
negatively affects the status of the Ruskyy all around the world,
including in Russia.
The Rus National Liberation Movement plans to achieve the
recognition of the Ruskyy as a nation and the right to their
self-determination in all international organizations, as well as at
the level of the Russian Federation.
As Evgeny Arhipov told, the Rus National Liberation Movement sent
to the U.N.O., the countries of the Council of Europe, the European
Union, heads of foreign states, international organizations and public
figures the appeal on recognition of the Ruska Democratic Republic
and assistance in carrying out a referendum with the participation of
international observers.
The Rus National Liberation Movement declared that attempts of the
Russian authorities to interfere in the carrying out of the
referendum, to exercise pressure on activists, supporters and voters,
to arrange provocations, to manipulate public opinion for the purpose
of exerting of pressure on activists and voters, to discredit someone
from participants and supporters of declaration of the Ruska
Democratic Republic would be considered as the most gross violation by
the Russian authorities of democratic principles and the standards
guaranteed by the international norms. The Rus National Liberation
Movement deems, thereby the Russian authorities will admit they
possess true information on a high support among the population of the
idea of the Ruska Democratic Republic creation, possibly good
results of voting in the referendum. In that case the Rus National
Liberation Movement reserves the right to suspend the carrying out of
the referendum before the appointed time, to recognize the referendum
as accomplished and with positive result on all questions.
