As Elena Ukolova said, the Russian policemen took her passport after suppressed action at the Red square “Where is my son?” and locked her in the room in police office “Kitai-gorod” near official residence of Russian President. As Elena Ukolova reported, the policemen called the psychiatric ambulance for the psychiatric survey of her. Elena Ukolova stressed, the policemen informed the medical team, that allegedly she is mentally abnormal. It is important, that Elena Ukolova the mother of the kidnapped child, was detained and stayed at the police office during more than 4 hours.
17 June 2011 is the second day of civil campaign «Where is my son?» at the Red Square. Elena Ukolova stressed, that she asked to Russian Government only one question and also she said, that she is planning to continue civil action until her son will be returned to her. The second action took about two minute, because the action was suppressed by Russian police.
Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights considers the actions of Russian police as a political persecution by punitive psychiatry.
In case of illegal placement of Elena Ukolova after her pickets in a psychiatric hospital Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights is ready to start the protest actions and present a special report at international level about the pressure of Russian authorities against Elena Ukolova and violation of human rights and freedoms in Russia.
