The Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights has got the addressing from civil activist from Bahrain. The civil activist informed the Association about the flagrant violations of human rights and freedoms in his country for last 2,5 months when Bahrain people have been fighting for democracy in their country.
The Association of Russian Lawyers for Human Rights condemn the activity of the Government of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia which suppress the dissent, peaceful assembly, political competition and freedom. The Association reminds, that it does not matter such brutal and corrupt regimes, it does not matter nor how tyranny tries to keep its power, if the regime is not democratic and does not protect human rights and freedoms, it will inevitably collapse. The processes of democratic development are global and are the inevitable and certainly other totalitarian regimes will fall sooner or later.

THE ADDRESSING
This is just another human being writing to you from Bahrain desperately, hoping that this letter by any chance will reach you.
As you might know, my country Bahrain has been a place of massive pro-democracy demonstrations in the last two months and half, which was met by brutal oppression by the security forces, with the participation of Saudi full-equipped troops on the unarmed protesters, causing the death of 30, injury of hundreds, detention of more than a 1000, sacking of about 2300 from their jobs and even dismissing students from schools. There is a real human rights crisis in here.
Many non-governmental human rights organization have issued recent reports of human rights situation in Bahrain, some of which are attached below (1). Many reports expressed concern about torture and inhuman treatment of people. There has not been any single independent investigation about all the reports by the Bahraini government yet. Actually, the government has denied any need for investigation, as they announced that all those allegations were false.
Recently, a martial law court sentenced four protesters to death and three to lifetime. Some "confessions" of them were aired on the official TV, baring in mind that one of the confessors has died 20 days before the trial and his body had "signs of horrific abuse," according to the Human Rights Watch report.
Other military trials were held for many human rights activists and opposition leaders, as well as medical professionals who treated the injured protesters.
The crisis is going on as I am writing you, and there are no signs of relief.
I'm not asking you to take sides in this conflict, as I know that your job is to fight torture and violation of human rights, but I'm sure you care about our situation, and that you can somehow speak out about the atrocities in my beloved country. Any effort you make is appreciated as every voice counts in condemning and taking whatever possible action to stop our suffering.
I guess politics and interests have become the priorities in Bahrain, as there is a strange indifference from official organizations, the media and most countries.
I hope that you sincerely think about helping us, and I am sure that your conscience will lead you to do the right thing.
